My stylist often mixes Aveda Confixor with the Potion. You only need a bit of the Confixor, maybe a dime size, then sprinkle a few shakes of Potion on top, mix well and style. Have fun!

Very useful post really. I'm a natural blonde also and I know how difficult is to give volume to your hair especially when is that fine like mine :).I will try to find this product and test it on myself, I'm curious for the results :)

I will second this recommendation. My hair isn't puny, but styling skills are. I can never get enough height in my crown or enough volume in my bangs. So I style the best I can and then sprinkle some of this magic pixie powder into any area I need more volume. It also helps me separate my bangs a bit.

My hair is also of the "puny" variety and my college hair stylist recommended this to me (they only used Aveda at their salon) which I thought was weird until I tried it. Really, it gives AMAZING texture and volume.

Another texturizer that I love: Redken's "fabricate." It is a spray version which I just really like better than the powder. Pure abundance powder is awesome but also a little freaky. And an even better mix BETWEEN powder and spray: Klorane's dry shampoo. I know it's not technically for volume/texture purposes but it gives my hair more "oomph" and texture than you would think. Might have to photo/tutorial blog that stuff it's so good.
