How do I sign up for Hair Thursday?

It’s very easy! Look at the top of this page. See the “Sign Up” link? Click that for all the details. If for some reason you do not follow my submission rules exactly, you will not be considered. (Uh, did that sound mean? Hope not.) The makeovers will be featured on Thursdays.

How long is the waiting list?

I have enough submissions to last until 2012. Eek!

Well, what’s the point then?

GREAT question! I realize the irony of having you send in a current photo and then waiting several years to get a response. Most likely, your hair will be presenting entirely new challenges in a couple of years. Hell, you might not even HAVE any hair in three years!

How are you going to address this issue?

Thanks for asking! Well, I’m making a change here at Hair Thursday. Submissions are no longer on a first come, first served basis. As much as my people-pleasing self would like, I simply can not help everyone. I will choose the participants based on many factors – whether the participant’s issue is something I feel will be helpful to majority of readers, interesting predicaments, or just a person who catches my eye. The bad news? Not all of you are going to be featured here at Hair Thursday. The good news? Newcomers to this website have just as good of a chance to be featured!

If makeovers are only once a week, what else can I expect from this website?

In addition to the weekly makeover on Thursday, I will be posting daily with new product information, celebrity hair crushes, beauty products I can’t live without, tutorials and the likes. I am also loving all of the Hair Share submissions! If you have a hair tip that you want to share, be sure and email me.

How will I know if I am going to be featured on Hair Thursday?

Besides compulsively checking my website? Which you should do on a hourly basis? (KIDDING.) I will send you an email beforehand, so you won’t miss it.

What if we don’t like this new arrangement?

As I’ve stated before, you are more than welcome to take it up with my customer service department.
