Hair Today – 1

My initial idea for this feature was to accost people on the street with great hair, take a photo and bring it back to you all. I haven’t been very good at this so far, not because I’m tentative about asking people, but because I ALWAYS forget to bring my camera.

Just yesterday, I saw two women with great hair but had no camera. (Plus, the male identical twins who had fantastic curls.) My point is that I now have my camera in its new, permanent home. My purse.

Giving it more thought, I realized this entire feature would be based on Southern California (which has great hair in general), but I would love a more diverse group of participants.

I figured, why not include the internet? I see photos of great hair all of the time! So, this will be a hybrid feature including both.

Which leads me to my first candidate, Casey. When I clicked over to her blog last week, my mouth DROPPED when I saw her new hairstyle. She looks AMAZING. (Be sure to check out her before photo at her blog.)
